I try to capture a sense of movement in each composition - of light reflecting off forest foliage or of sunshine illuminating layered clouds. Each artwork has a textural depth and beauty created from the interplay of transparent color fields. These prints are reproduced from my original photomontage artwork and are available in a collection of wall decor for a limited time at JYSK home decor stores across Canada.

Songeries...for the curious

Songerie is a French literary term meaning reverie or day-dream, which reflects the overall compositional quality of this collection. The root of the word, song, I associate with the Chinese Song Dynasty, a time of great flourishing of the arts, when there was an interest in capturing the fleeting and transient nature of life.
