Earth Wind Water Fire

The theme of the Red Dot Affair is "Earth Wind Water Fire" -- the Maple Ridge Art Gallery's annual, juried exhibit for 2009. This year, artists were invited to address the theme of the elements in any context. The result is a wonderfully diverse show by emerging and established artists working in a wide variety of media.

I had a preview of all the art in the exhibit when I dropped off my work for the show. This will be a terrific exhibit — there is a lot of exceptional work by local artists, all reasonably priced — just right for gift giving or for art for your own home!
