Waiting in the rain. Under the overhang of an adjacent building. The lights of the Cambie Hotel blear through the drizzle. Lonely windows stare. Lost in my thoughts I'm vaguely aware of construction noise and shuffling pedestrians, just legs under dark umbrellas.
