101 Prints Gala & Draw is a unique annual fundraiser for Malaspina Printmakers Society that includes gourmet catering, handcrafted libations, live music, door prizes, and original prints. This is a fun event where every ticket guarantees you an original fine art print!
How it Works
At 8pm sharp, the names of all the 101 registrants will be placed into a hat. When the first name is drawn and announced, that registrant will have one minute to choose a print until another name is drawn. When a print has been selected, it is removed from the wall, labeled with the registrant’s name, and stored for the registrant to pickup at the end of the evening.
The prints are generously donated by local and international artists. Many of the prints far exceed the ticket value. All funds raised support Malaspina charitable programs. The evening will be emceed by Lisa Christiansen from CBC Radio.
7pm: live music and hors d’oeuvres; time to view the prints
8pm: opening remarks and draw begins
10pm: live music and dessert
